Plains Area Mental Health Center is hiring a full-time Psychologist based out of our Denison Office. Psychologists will employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. Travel to our satellite offices is required. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Pay Range:

$94,000.00 up to $105,000.00 depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and developing treatment plans and recommendations
• Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records
• Keeps current on testing and diagnostic related material, rules, and practices
• Refer clients for treatment of psychological disorders as warranted and appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Iowa licensure to practice as an Independent Doctor of Psychology
• One-Two years’ experience in conducting assessments in an outpatient setting
• Valid Driver’s License and Insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual a plus, but not required
